Christ said “lo the volume of the book. It is written of me. I have come to do the will oh God”. He takes away the first to establish the second. Because the law and the prophets only explained in a linear fashion the ubiquitous things of God, meaning that everything the law represented from the Passover to David taking the articles into Jerusalem, were elements and concepts of timeless invisible truths of God. Paul called them “shadows of things to come” “having a likeness but not the essence” being images in contrast.

So we who are this cannot sin because all the law, its accusations and condemnations were taken to the cross and nailed there now as powerless instruments. With the expiration of those things Satan has nothing to say and in this way the accuser of the brethren is cast down. He becomes a toothless roadkill for us who receive this. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
Hebrews 2.14 Christ partook of flesh and blood, to through death destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. Something a 2nd coming Jesus does not do .
Even David spoke of the blessedness of the man in whom the Lord imputes no sin. Because the law is an accounting method for measuring sin and storing up judgement . But we are free from the law. Why? It is nailed to the cross with Christs dead body. That which slays us has been slain at the cross. It is an expired document. A relic. Archives of things past. Even before that it only produced death and therefor its purpose of killing, has been neutralized and rendered ineffective and useless. “Do we then make void the law? No we establish it”. It is our starting point. Our foundation. We stand on them. It was gifted to us in Christ. He paid the price and received our prize. In this way God gave His Son. His Son is His gift to us who are this kind of righteousness. The righteousness of faith. What must we do to do the works of God? Keep all His commandments? Yah. By faith in the invisible “while we look not to the things that are seen”.
“On Him was laid the inequity of us all”. For those who could not let go of the law? They bore their own sin. All the blood shed from righteous Abel to Zachariah was required of that generation for despising the gift saying “all these things I have done from my youth. So all the sin, ills and killing was reset in the time when the Word became flesh and dwelled among us .
Like we have said in previous posts. The law has no relevance to us. Even as Paul said that “we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners . And “love is the fulfillment of the law. And of James who spoke of the royal law saying “you shall love your neighbor as yourself. For those who love? Of such there is no law
Love is the fulfillment of the law because love is the cheif attribute of the Father. The laws are a break down of Him but applied without love they become killers. But we die no more.

1John 5.18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself,[e] and the wicked one does not touch him.

19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
