Christ came to complete the Law. To satisfy the demands of the Law. To silence the law. To fulfill the Law. To put it to rest. To expire and shelve the old testament law with all  its necessary mechanisms of implementation including the prophets, the priests, the feasts, the tabernacle. The whole government and culture having served their purpose of portraying a physical representation of “the Kingdom of God”. Having failed miserably the stewardship of these things has been given to another and the previous one judged “till not one stone shall be left upon another”. And “on them was laid all the blood of the prophets who were slain from Righteous Abel to Zachariah”. Why? To judge, condemn, put out of business and expire the old and make way for the New. The New Covenant with all its articles for implementation of “the New and Living way” now in effect with the blood of Christ. The old wine for New. The old is eternally fulfilled, expired and shelved. Hebrews 8.13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete”.  This is what “fulfilled” means.

Kind of like with a prescription. You go to the pharmacy they read your prescription and they fill it. When you use that bottle up if that was all your prescribed, you could not refill it. Your prescription had been fulfilled. You have not been prescribed anymore. You got your last filling. It’s done. So too with the Old Covenant. When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son born of women, to redeem those who were born under the law.” That event is History. All the law and the prophets are till John. Now the (true) Kingdom is preached and all are entering. And since that culture was annihilated, because they rejected Christ saying “He is not our King” and having received the judgment due their crime of rejecting an egternal King, they received an eternal penalty. And if God restores that kingdom? He owes the last Jewish culture a big apology.

Christ spoke a parable of Jerusalem saying “He was hungry. 13 And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” Period Ever again! Why? because “There was none righteous, no not one”.

We can also see another analogy or parable with a prescription when it is said that it has expired. Meaning that you have kept it past its useful period and now it is no good. That is why Paul said he was alive once without the law, but when the law came sin revived and I died. I see then that the law is good, but the way to keep the law is not in me. So the purpose of the law is to kill us so that we may have eternal life. But once we have died to the law, we are freed to live to God. You cannot do both at the same time. When we are free from the law, to go back to it is like going back to prison for a crime to re-serve the term. It’s called double jeopardy. The penalty of the crime was already paid by Christ. “On Him was laid the iniquity of us all. We are lo longer held accountable for the crime. We are free from the law, the short comings and the penalties. We are “a free man”. And the law of the spirit of life in Christ has set me free from the law of sin and death” in this way.

The law with all its articles, sacrifices, feasts and such serve me no purpose. The law has been fulfilled in Christ for my freedom. He who the Son sets freed is truly free.

Christ came to fulfill all the law and the prophets. And if He returned to the father leaving any iota, or tittle of the law and the prophets unfulfilled then he did not accomplish his task.  And He could not say it has been fulfilled. He could not enact the New Covenant. And Paul could not have said “old things have past away, all things become new”.

In the same way, the law has no future bearing on us. The Law, the testament, the prophets the feasts the buildings, people and city being each dependant upon each other to represent a culture, are eternally expired. That is Gods trademark. He doesn’t do things twice as though He forgot something or changed His mind. “Of whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning”. That culture was laid flat. It is established “in Christ”. Nothing was left undone or unfulfilled.
Like a concrete foundation for a building project the law is laid first. To lay it to rest. It is a platform for “Christ the Chief Cornerstone” and us “as living stones built together a habitation for God in the spirit”.  The law laid is a firm foundation for us to stand on. Firm, meaning irrefutable unmovable, un-erasable. You could say the Law is set in eternal concrete. That is why Heavenly Jerusalem is described as setting on the works of the apostles and the prophets with Christ our cornerstone, being things bygone, completed and not needing re-visitation in any way
We are not waiting for another foundation for another city on earth called Jerusalem for the Jerusalem of God is already “the Mother of us all” (Galatians 4.26). She is spirit and truth and we are born again of the spirit. If you recognize Heavenly Jerusalem as a concurring reality, there is no need for modern day Jerusalem except to make God a liar and scripture a false witness. “For the day that is coming now is when you will not worship God in Jerusalem but in spirit and truth”. (John 4) Why? Jerusalem is made up of compositions in the spirit called immutable, unchangeable truths as being “the Kingdom from before the foundations of the world. Only an eternal place is fitting for an eternal God and His offspring of those who have eternal life.
The old law and the whole Jewish culture put out of business and need not be rebuilt. The New Covenant is established on better promises than the law. It says of Christ “He takes away the first to establish the second”.  He does not patch up the old one. Just as the parable of the old and new clothes. You cannot sew them together. So with the death of the testator,  Christ is the New Covenant now in effect. There is no 3rd covenant or a return to the old for “that which is perfect has come for that which is in part to be done away with”. Not to planet earth like a supposed 2nd coming for “flesh and blood does not inherit a kingdom that looks like the one of old. But the renewed mind of faith transforms one revelation at a time “in Spirit and Truth. This is the kingdom that “cometh not with observation”. Meaning visible to the carnal eye in our dimension of time described in 24 hour intervals of light and dark. In Him there is no darkness. And at the throne of God it is the Lamb of God that is the eternal illumination. There are no previous or future focal points for us to enter this Glory. Which is the purpose of our calling. The “Father of Glories begats other glories”. That is those of us who not only see the light, but live there without interruption.
Even as it was said of Moses. That the people would watch him go in and out of the temple, but the young man Joshua never left the temple. Why? Because Moses had an old temple mindset being a carnally visual one, but Joshua a new. Hence he was called “a young man” meaning a new man. One that is always new everyday. Even as Paul said “although our outward man perishes day by day, our inward man is renewed. And our renewing is understanding these
truths in the spirit more and more clearly, “till the coming of the perfect day”. Till “in that day” and “so much more as you see the day approaching”. Some of us have entered the place where the lamb is the light.
2 Corinthians 5.16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now  all things are of God,
So if the old things, meaning the law, prophets and the flesh obvious culture called the Jews, has passed away, being fulfilled, “how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? Why do you revert to the old, carnally visual images? Of this Paul said “11 I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain. Meaning you can’t have both cultures represent God. And since God is spirit and truth, you decide. His words are spirit and life, and “you must be born again of the spirit”. Yes! That is right! Heavenly Jerusalem, the Mother of us all” is insulted that many seek another coming kingdom.
And just as the sum of all things is greater than the individual parts, Christ is the conclusion of all the things of God that were broken down in the law and the prophets for us to understand and assimilate in a spiritual way are gathered and collected together in Christ. For in him dwells the fullness of the godhead body we no longer need any earthen artifacts or articles by which to associate with him. For there is one mediator between man and God the man Christ Jesus. If he left any of the prophets or the law unfulfilled, then that New Covenant could not be in force. Just as Paul talks about a women cannot marry while her first husband lives. So we die to the law, disregard our allegiance and responsibilities to the Mosaic Law and marry another. Christ and His laws of the new covenant.
This is what all the law and prophets looked forward to. Even as Peter said:10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us[b] they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel. And so we do. Tey knew they were speaking to us because they also knew that the old testament culture was fruitless as they said “seeing with their eyes they see not, and hearing with their ears they hear not. For them it will be “with stammering lips and another tongue
He will speak to this people,
12 To whom He said, “This is the rest with which
You may cause the weary to rest,”
And, “This is the refreshing”;
Yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the Lord was to them,
“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little,”
That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught.”

Scriptures also saying that God has given them the spirit of stupor that they may be snared taking back and fall backward.

This is the conclusion of all the law and the prophets. The fulfillment.

And since Christ fulfilled these things then there is no reason for the old. For this reason he condemned sin in the flesh. Like an old building to be torn down as a health hazard.
Paul says I died to the law that I may serve Christ be free from sin. You cannot serve two masters you cannot serve sin and you cannot serve life for the two are contrasts of each other. The whole Covenant of Moses was added so that “what was sinful may become exceedingly sinful”.
What then serves the purpose of the law? It was added till Faith would come. And in the fullness of time God sent forth his son born from a woman to redeem those who are under the curse of the law. It is expired. For cursed is everyone that continue within the law that does not do the whole thing. And for this reason the law is a document of death. The law that was good was designed to kill me. What was sin became exceedingly sinful. So then the law that was the document of death and Paul said we are no longer those people from things written on stones but those things written on our hearts as superseding the old. Trading one for the other. When Paul says all things have passed away All Things become new he’s explicitly speaking of the law and the prophets, of all the feasts in the Articles of faith that have been expired and fulfilled and shelved. We trade it for a new way of thinking.
Therefore knowing these things that the whole city with are all the Articles all the feasts have been wrapped up into a ball and expired and shelved to not need to be Revisited or redone. The main reason here is that the law was never part of God’s original plan in the first place it was added till the seed should come so having fulfilled its purpose till the seed should come is not many but meaning Christ he has come everyone that confesses that Christ has come in the flesh is of God and meaning he has come in the flesh is that he expired all the old for everything to become new. Old Testament new testament old Covenant New Covenant done deal we are people of the New Covenant. If we return to the law we are transgressors.
When the writer of Hebrews said that we have a New and Living
Paul explicitly goes on to state in Galatians that do you not hear what the law says? That the laws are represented in the old Covenant in the Old Testament of Hagar and Sarah. That Hagar is the one that generates Drive and is in correlation with Jerusalem then that was given into bondage but the Sarah correlates with Jerusalem above which is the mother of us all. He was speaking of two different kingdoms of two different constructs. One constructed from the elements and principles of God and the other from the principles of Earth. Exact contrasts so just to revisit this principle he’s the New and Living Way if we seek to construct that which was tore down we make ourselves a transgressor and even by doing so in our mind we need to be careful. There’s a spiritual counterpart and a spiritual exchange as we understand the physical. That we have the prophetic word which is more sure than anything they heard or saw including the Transfiguration on the mount. We have the prophetic word. And prophecy once again is not to speak forward of cataclysmic events of things that are supposed to happen, no true prophecy and prophetic is making known and making visible the invisible. We can only see The Invisible by knowing the invisible in developing the eyes of our understanding. This is why Paul prayed that the eyes of our standing understanding would be opened to ascertain these facts. The law made nothing perfect but the bringing in of a better hope did. White raid perfection for unprofessional. Why trade the Heavenly for a physical. For all the Earth and all its Works shall be burned up. We look to the city whose Builder and maker is God made up of his constructs not Irvin. Because we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken it’s not Jerusalem on Earth. That is the distraction that is the delusion if possible to deceive the elect but most powerful is a delusion if possible to deceive many others and it does.
